I ordered this product because I travel a lot and something the need for basic computer and e-mail. TRICK It is ... but it is extremely slow and in many blocks (I was loaded with applications, either!) I do not recommend this for people to use MS Office, or those who have not have the patience to wait for pages to download or untreated. I will try to sell used to get a normal laptop. One of the best gifts I ever got
For several years I went from mobile to mobile, but had problems similar. They really were not small enough, or laptop to my taste (and those who have had a much higher price than what I wanted). The battery life was not quite up to scratch and I wanted to be able to use it for long periods of time without connecting Then I got in there and Netbook Acer has been a lifesaver.
This unit is just the right size. This is not so big that it becomes cumbersome or difficult to keep your knees, but not so small you can not see anything or using the keyboard. I also noticed that despite the publicity 6.5 hours of battery life, I receive more than 8 hours out of him. I'm not a big fan of touch pads (nothing wrong with the one on this unit, I do not touchpads in general), then I'm the Wireless Mouse M305 and now everything is fine.
My only real complaint is that I wish I could grow the amount of RAM to 4 GB, as this ensures a long life of usability. Obviously, netbooks are not meant to be central computers and I use this for my writing, updating web content, and surfing. I have a USB DVD drive, and I saw some movies on it without problem (which empty the battery a little faster though) and on any computer I need advanced features such as video editing, I use my desktop anyway with the big screen.
Overall, I was very pleased with this netbook.

I'm in love!
All I can say is it was the best $ 300 I've never past! I love this netbook. I can not rave enough talk. I was one of those who do not want a Blackberry because the characters are too small. I love to read files and attachments in full size rather than on a portable device about the size of a deck of cards. But a computer Traditional phone was too big and too heavy for me to tote around. So it was the perfect compromise. It is lightweight and super compact and I have mine in the color Ruby red hot! I use it for work (especially of basic documents and graphic files ... not heavy or huge data) and home (e-mail, facebook, youtube, etc.) and I'm really impressed by the speed, memory and all the features (especially the introductory trial period Microsoft Office that came free with purchase). I highly recommend this product.
Great Netbook!
I Bought this little Acer netbook for my 12 year old son. He loves it! He can play ONLINE GAMES WITH FRIENDS ACROSS THE COUNTRY AS WELL AS his school. It was the best investment I've ever done for him! Was totally worth it and I recommend it to anyone who needs a small computer. I also have one and I use it for social networking and online banking. Great product!
poor battery life.
The netbook is what he was supposed to in terms of performance. The battery life, however, is very short, almost always discharge 50% in three days, even when turned off. This severely affects the portability of the machine, as I always wear the AC adapter with me, and advice from Acer to charge the battery for a few cycles and reset the bios did not help. Very disappointed.
