People - do not buy any What Alienware! It was a huge mistake for us. m9750 laptop we bought 18 months ago and spent a fortune. My son saved lot of money and was happy that it is. Has been sent for repair at least twice. The second time he returned and has not yet determined are installed on the motherboard incorrectly. When we say simply that of trying to act like we did something that must be again divided. Finally agreed to amend this patch on September 3 when he sent back to us he was hidden from Federal! I [...] also realized that they are constantly federal, two months before, but I won a few more months. Well then he took the computer to replace losses on a computer that is not very good on the computer. But there's nothing I can do I complained and argued and prayed, but they sent me a base model laptop that does not even compare with expensive than we purchased. I swear it's always better my old one, but only because the technology has improved, because the prices of computers. Although not as cold as we were dealing with departure, but not. We have no choice. They are rude and never apologized to us who have lost our federal phone - Treaties me as a thief and also told me that my account was flagged for possible fraud

Do not waste your money
I had this notebook for 3 years and 1 month to be exact battery and video card heat sink video card have died.The is burned and I smelled smoke coming out of the computer laptop and saw dead pixels on the screen and I had to shut down the computer immediately because I was afraid the computer burn.The would cost heat sink over $ 500 and you can not find in any repair shop or the local computer stores as Staples.I did not get the warranty because I never thought a $ 3,000 laptop would be so many major problems in less than 5 years.

Alienware Aurora M7700 "worst idea ever"
I bought this laptop from Alienware even thinking I was getting the best PC ever! I was wrong! The only reason I saw the post above because I'm shopping for parts to fix mine. Alienware customer support is the worst I have had to deal with, I could get- better service from a barking dog. I only wish I would have bought the 4 year extended warranty. So far, the screen has dead pixels and the backlight is not working, the dvd is toast, one of the cooling fans died, and the battery is toast. This laptop is 4 years, I saw 10 years of Dell laptops with less difficulty. Overall, building your own, this is a laptop that was 900D Clevo Alienware stuck there on the name. I encourage anyone considering purchasing this company to look elsewhere! Please! Please!

overhyped piece of trash
As a young teenager, I dreamed of a machine like the Alienware one said he was. A machine that does nothing and everything for the games, with the state of his art and graphics. Alienware claims that he has customer service winning and a computer that I nicknamed Rambo, before I bought one.
With mods, my desktop replacement costs 4700.00. It is by far the absolute worst experience I ever had with a computer, and it was sitting in my closet for almost a year after I bought it. Several accidents, two hard drives and stripped the machine in general was so hot at times, he would burn not only a flat surface but retain heat long after the machine was off. Add the argument that a large desktop replacement would, in general, the machine has not enough fans almost enough to withstand the weight and heft of such a system.
I can not urge you enough, no matter how slick and stylish ads can be and how amazing the clock speeds are the claims alienware (you can build your own clock and what you want, you do not need the alienware name to), never, never buy something from this company.
The customer service has was tedious, nauseating and petty. I had to call up almost three times daily for months before they even consider having returned, which was still under warranty with it.
A company that clearly needs to go underground and never back again.
