Auto Backup

The file extension BUP is for Back UP. This is a backup file made by a variety of applications including word processing, presentation and accounting software. This extension is normally created automatically when the program crashes or the original file is damaged due to viruses or programming errors.

BUP are identified by the corresponding extension. They are easy to find in the directory. BUP extension can also be found on DVD. These files are backup IFO files recorded on DVD.
