I had my Mini Inspiron for about a year and I still love it. It fits in my bag (with my Kindle) and it weighs almost nothing. I took him to conferences and holidays. I have a portable DVD / CD burner to install programs and burn discs. I have another regular laptop and 5 other PCs, but it the only one I ever bragged and showed to foreigners. I type 65wpm and love the keyboard. (I have large hands for a woman.) This is not my fastest computer in every way and I have the XP version, but this little guy made me happy. In addition, on several nights I slept with him and can not tell you how many times I literally kicked out of bed not to mention all the times I dropped it and it seems invincible. I use it now while I'm lounging in my chair watching the big TV screen. I can hardly say that it was on my knees all except for a little heat. (I'll probably end up sleeping with her tonight.)
The only thing I could change becomes one with a faster processor Fast. I can not justify it now because I'm too happy with this computer hard drive, easy to use soon.

Great little netbook!
I just got the Dell Mini 1012 Netbook ... and choose what ASUS 1005, Samsung and HP 210 for three main reasons:
One, his impression of strength ... feel more like a laptop .. no netbook cheap plastic old
Second, rocks keyboard, simply incredible guy ... not a keyboard chiclet:), but feels like a real keyboard. I have received a little over 80 WPM on it (That's what I get on my laptop ordinary) .. 
Finally, the screen is incredible, very clear and bright, better than ASUS, HP and MSI .. go to a store like BestBuy and see them in action and compare. YouTube picture quality was amazing.
I have used the Atom N270 Netbook before, but the Atom N450 is cool .. I can run Powerpoint, Word Doc and Internet Explorer at the same time ... and switching between applications without delay .. almost like a regular laptop - with N270 literally used to hang:) Also, I am more than 8 hours with thoes applications, which is cool.

I agree with the reviewer who complained about the touchpad. It is the only thing I do not like this computer. It is a great piece of hardware for the money. It is small and light (obviously), the keyboard is very pleasant (even for a guy who has 6'2 "with fairly large hands), the small screen is quite viable (and I am a heavy user of two major screens on my desktop) and is thoughtful statements (eg USB ports on both sides).
I bought it to travel with, take notes at meetings, no e-mail, itunes running, maybe a little Skype (it has a built in camera) - this kind of thing, and it seems like it will do all those are good. Would not be sitting in front of it for 8 hours, but this is not what it was designed for. If 3G was with IPAD out, I might have bought instead. My only reservation is the touchpad. Fortunately, there is a trick to it and I'll adjust.
