Most of the features that make the TaylorMade Writer SuperFast a virtual hot rod among drivers (Dual Crown technology, aerodynamic design and a club head, ultra thin club face) are also SuperFast present in TP. The Tour preferred model has a little more open and shallower face the SuperFast standard, and it also has a heavier Tour Velvet grip. Yet the SuperFast TP is one of the most agile drivers in TaylorMade's arsenal, thanks to more than the normal tree (46 inches) and a design shaped clubhead aggressive. The crown curve around the front and heel of the club can reduce drag, increase speed club head up to 2 mph on the 09 Burner TP.
A double crown, with the smaller of the two crowns on top, allows additional weight to be pulled back low and deep in the head to increase the transport and distance. An enlarged area of the face (a little over 4,000 square millimeters) and the 460cc head also build confidence. TP Superfast shaft comes with a 65-gram Matrix HD6 (To promote a more penetrating ball flight) and ends all in black, similar to SuperTri R9.
