Case Western

Writing an article a day during your free time is a challenge. Writing 400 words in half an hour is more than one. It one word every 4 seconds. It does not give you much time to think between the two.

Therefore, you must start with something you already know well. Forget everything up research, even spelling. Use words that you do not check the dictionary, unless your computer spell check is for you.

Get a glimpse into your head at first, but do not take more than a minute or two to think on. As a physician, I write many articles on common health problems, those I see every day. Writing an article is a bit like see a patient. I first determine what the purpose of the visit is. Then I take a more complete story. It is followed by a physical examination after What we are discussing a plan of action.

To write an article, first clarify your topic or question you aim to answer. Consider reaffirming the issue or goal in two or three ways, or identify one or two minor issues. You can include your experience and why you are a good candidate to answer the question first.

Then, describe the problem further. What kind of questions that other people encountered? What benefit your reader to draw conclusions an answer? What solutions have been proposed by other experts, and what are the advantages and disadvantages of each?

In the next paragraph describe your answer to the problem as succinctly and accurately as possible. Do not use fancy words - just aim for clarity. The medical literature for patients is written at 5th-10th year. Your goal is that people understand, not to think you're a genius. People are looking for what's inside them, not how talented you may be.

Compare your solution to others that you have already mentioned, or describe them here. Explain why your response is greater. Focus on benefits, but do not forget to mention the inconvenience potential. People want to know the good, but they do not want to be surprised by problems they should have been warned.

Finally, a paragraph summary reaffirm what you already said, but in a few sentences. In 400 words you can not make more than one important point, two at most. Focus on the idea simple as you want your reader to remember.

The time is up. I wrote this in 20 minutes and used 450 words. It helps to type quickly! In summation: write what you know, write in simple language and purpose to transmit a single great idea. That's it. Good luck!

A Western Character Education Program: A Case Study $96.59 Certain moral truths remain constant across civilizations, but the influence of the culture is a point of contention.
