The industry-leading 6 GB / s SAS interface in all models of Quantum drives LTO-5, which allowed him to work in wider range of environments. In addition, the Quantum HH LTO-5 player offers the SAS interface (HBA adapter host bus) options bundle. These interface options allow users to easily integrate and install the drive in their data center. For compliance regulatory encryption technology and WORM were added to the LTO-5. LTO5 Quantum drives are available in half-height and full height form factors to suit all needs users. To secure previous investments, backward compatibility has been incorporated into the Quantum LTO-5 tape drives. Fast-Sense technology makes it possible to increase efficiency and ensure a consistent performance during heavy workloads. It closely monitors the speed of the belt and it matches the speed of incoming data. This allows the reader Quantum LTO5 to provide faster backups with the highest integrity.
Media partitioning speeds up the search process, leading and an unmatched efficiency in data-intensive environments. Average data search time in half-height drives Quantum is 56 seconds and the full height drive is 51 seconds. Various configurations are offered by Quantum HH LTO-5 for greater flexibility that are hard Internal hard drive, rack-mount and simulation. The combination of all these advanced features and unique features make the Quantum LTO-5, the ideal storage medium for the purpose of growing companies.
