Repair instruction for Dell Inspiron 6400 AC Adapter

1. Soldering iron or soldering station. I use WES51 Weller soldering station and for this work, I set the temperature about 800-850 ° F.

3. Desoldering pump for removing solder around component son. I use Edsyn Soldapullt pump, model DS 017.

Start desoldering process with adding some new fresh solder to all three contacts. This will make old solder more fluid, easier to remove. During heating, a Dell Inspiron 6400 contacts AC adapter, remove the solder from this contact using the desoldering pump. Repeat the same steps with all contacts outlet until you remove the weld as possible.
