Many people go out and tell you the difference and say what are the advantages and disadvantages of each. But look at it a little different. When you go play golf you do not take any club and think it will satisfy all your needs on the golf course. The same thing with trailers. If you have an amount of money you want to spend or if you are looking for a trailer to be able to carry your three cars and lawnmower racing (I'm a boy County) will make a difference this trailer you'll need to get. If you have a small car you do not want to buy a major carrier of heavy cars. Your car can not shoot. So first of all before you buy a trailer to consider what you plan to use it. How often do you use, the vehicle will be pulling the trailer?
When you pointed the finger that you use your trailer, I'll give you some ideas for both types of trailer. Always verify parts of the trailer and takes them. If you buy a cheap trailer with components at low prices you pay for them in the future unless you plan to use once a year and storing it in the rest of the time.

And are handy with a welder and do not bother painting from time to time, then you'll want perhaps a steel trailer. If something were to happen to the aluminum trailer, it will not be as easy to fix. The nice part about steel is they are less money and easy to modify.
