Apple QuickTake
History
In 1992, Apple Computer has begun marketing plans for a digital camera called QuickTake, codenamed Venus. When more than 12 billion dollars was spent annually in the United States in the photograph. Apple searched for a design company and manufacturing their line QuickTake digital camera. It should be noted as a fact, that Kodak had already been selling their own version of self mark of this device, manufactured in Japan by Chinon Industries, more than a year [citation needed].
The QuickTake 100 was published in 1994 as an easy to use digital camera connected to a Macintosh computer using a serial cable Apple. The device was capable store eight photos at 640x480 resolution, 32 photos at a resolution of 320x240, or a mixture of two sizes. All photos were in color 24-bit. The camera had a flash, but no discussion or zoom controls. The QuickTake 150 kit includes a separate close-up lens that allowed the establishment about 30 cm. Other than downloading the photos to a computer, there was no way to preview them on camera, there was no way deleting pictures from the camera (although there was a button "garbage" behind which aims to remove all the contents of the camera). It was one of the first digital cameras that have been targeted for consumers to be freed.
Apple has released a connection kit for Microsoft Windows with the QuickTake 150 in 1995. The final model was built QuickTake the Fujifilm QuickTake 200, released in 1996. The 200 controls added development and openness, as well as the ability to store images on SmartMedia cards flashRAM.
Different models QuickTake not sell very well, Like other companies such as Kodak (already in the market before Apple), Fujifilm, Canon, Nikon and enter the digital market with brands that consumers associate with photography. They were discontinued in 1997, shortly after Steve Jobs came back to Apple. In an attempt to streamline operations of Apple, Jobs dropped many non-computer, including the Newton product line, the range of LaserWriter, and QuickTake cameras. The Apple QuickTake camera has since become a collector for Apple enthusiasts.

Using QuickTake
The QuickTake 200 can be used with card readers that can read media 5V cards. For users with an Apple Macintosh running System 7 through Mac OS 9 with a serial port, the QuickTake 200 can be plugged directly into the computer using the Apple QuickTake camera. The QuickTake 100 and 150 to store images internally, not on the cards, so they must be used with a cable series and the Apple QuickTake driver software. QuickTake cameras can not be directly connected to a Macintosh running Mac OS X, both because these machines do not support the protocol Apple old series, and because the QuickTake cameras used a single codec for compression and decompression that was not brought to modern versions of QuickTime.

Apple Fileware $92.4 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles FileWare floppy disk drives and diskettes were designed by Apple Computer as a higherperformance alternative to the Disk II and Disk III floppy systems used on the Apple II and Apple /// personal computers. The drives were also referred to as Apple 871 drives in service documentation, based on their approximate formatted storage capacity in kilobytes, but were most commonly known by their code name, Twiggy, after a 1960s fashion model (Twiggy) who was famously thin. In 1978, Apple intended to develop its own FileWare drive mechanism for use in the new Apple /// and Lisa business computers being developed. They quickly ran into difficulties which precluded them from being incorporated in the Apple ///, which continued to use the earlier Shugart design. FileWare drives were finally introduced with the Apple Lisa computer in 1983, and were used in prototypes of the Apple Macintosh. Although Apple planned to make FileWare drives available for the Apple II and Apple III, and announced them under the names UniFile and DuoFile (for single and dual drives, respectively), these products were never shipped. Apple Profile $121.08 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The ProFile was the first hard drive produced by Apple Computer, initially for use with the Apple III personal computer. The original model had a formatted capacity of 5 MB and connected to a special interface card that plugged into an Apple III slot. In 1983 Apple offered a ProFile interface card for the Apple II, with software support for ProDOS and Apple Pascal. Also in 1983, Apple introduced the Lisa computer, which was normally sold with a ProFile. The ProFile could be connected to the builtin parallel port of the Lisa, or to a port of an optional dualport parallel interface card. Up to three such interface cards could be installed, so in principle up to seven ProFile drives could be used on a Lisa. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Tennoe, Mariam T./ Henssonow, Susan F. Apple IIc $100.37 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The Apple IIc, the fourth model in the Apple II series of personal computers, was Apple Computers first endeavor to produce a portable computer. The end result was a luggable 7 pound notebooksized version of the Apple II that could easily be transported from place to place. The c in the name stood for compact, referring to the fact it was essentially a complete Apple II computer setup (minus display and power supply) squeezed into a small notebook sized housing. While sporting a built in floppy drive and new rear peripheral expansion ports integrated onto the main logic board, it lacked the internal expansion slots and direct motherboard access of earlier Apple IIs, making it a closed system like the Macintosh. However that was the intended direction for this modela more appliancelike machine, ready to use out of the box, requiring no technical knowhow or experience to hook up and therefore attractive to firsttime users. Drive Setup $71.7 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Drive Setup is the default disk formatting tool in Mac OS 7.5.29.2.2. It supports such features as partitioning, and lowlevel formatting. It could format hard drives in HFS, HFS Plus file systems, and supported formatting drives for use with Linux and A/UX.In the mid 1990s, when Apple began shipping computers using ATA hard drives, the SCSI drive formatting utility, Apple HD SC Setup was joined by Internal HD Format which could not format SCSI drives. It was first introduced with the PowerBook 150 and Quadra 630 in July 1994. Eventually, both Internal HD Format and Apple HD SC Setup were superseded with Drive Setup in 1995 and ultimately by Disk Utility, both of which combined resources to format both SCSI and IDE drives.
