Learn to fix your problems fast hard drive
As computer users are human beings, the user can be the leading cause of computer failure. And we operators of our computers are in most cases, but we operate the computer but I know very little software and hardware components and peripherals.
Since this is the case, you should assume NOTHING when diagnosing any computer problem. We diagnosed a new PC with a video display problem. After a brief search of the video card it took some time to see the video card was not pushed into the adapter slot completely.
Even if I looked the card, I failed to check thoroughly. This cause me to spend more time on the resolution was not needed.The thought of a hard drive failure strikes terror into the heart of every computer user.
Indeed, a hard disk failure can cause loss of valuable data. Here are the most common procedures that you perform when you encounter a hard drive failure.
Hard Drive Troubleshooting General
The hard drive may show problems such as "retry, abort, ignore" or "can not read sectors" during operation. This is an indication that there may be poor or unreadable spots on the disk. reformatting and reinstalling the operating system normally correct this problem. This will make you lose all data on your disk, it is important to always have a good backup yourfiles daily.
There are good utilities that you can buy that can repair the hard drive without destroying data problems. The Utility is a utility Spinrite well and does not cost only $ 200.00 which is a good price if you want to avoid the hassle of reformatting the disk and restore the operating system. Here are some general problems hard disk, you should begin and we will be more precise later.
Use operating system utilities
First, you may be able to correct those bad spots and errors on your hard drive by performing those PC maintenance in the operating system. Control the drive cables and connections

If the player does not start ...?
Start your computer with DOS boot disk. If you do not, STOP and make one now by clicking Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add / Remove Programs and the startup disk.
Try accessing the C: drive by typing DIR C: and press Enter. If you see directories on drive C: to try to make the system boot disk by typing in: c: and press Enter. The system files must be restored and the reader can be restored to start on its own.
If that fails, you may need to reformat and partition the disk with the configuration utility supplied with your player or computer.
If the drive boots but hangs at startup ...?
Turn the computer, open the unit system and disconnect the ribbon cable at the end mother. Turn on the PC and you get an error message indicating that the disk is bad and in most cases, goes into your BIOS. Change the type of hard disk to AUTO and turn off the computer.
Reconnect the ribbon cable and see if the drive correctly. Parameters Unit should be reinstated and should work fine.
A hard disk that fails to start can also be a bad controller. If the controller is mounted on the drive, there is not much to do but replace the disk.
