2d season, I used 36v.cordless. I bought a second battery in a manner that would need 5 extra lines {I must say the price of the battery pack beyond the price of the unit). Anyway, my ownership of about 5.5 hectares, comprises approximately 1.5 hectares planted with perennial ryegrass and with rains in California, we had a good year of the grass is so high that it hides the local herd of deer (5 feet in many places.) The Wireless cuts well, but due to the heavy load, the battery will last about 20 minutes. Hence the need for a second. Also two battery charger offer. So after about 6 sessions, the work is done and the cut is nice and close.

This is a great mower and exactly what I was looking for. much power and juice only works sometimes after I achieve 40-foot gap is rather more cultured. My only complaint about this mower is the ergonomics are a bit off. the trigger must be in the center with the battery attached to the rear to balance the weight of the head of machete Thus most of the gases for a reason. With the battery placed in your hands during work may lead in awkward positions that can take you to far more easily than a traditional mower. Overall though this is exactly what I was looking for. near electricity gas mower without the noise and pollution free. I wish it came with a second battery for $ 160 but I do not myself expecting it.

I impressed - with some reservations ...
OK ... trimmer been packed right and in good condition. With all the good reviews, I expected quality, quiet, easy to use mower. At first use, for a minute, the two cords severed at the base in the tall grass medium cons fence son (my bad). I opened the lid of the reel and tried to re-thread the twine through the holes, but I had pull the coil on this point and to untangle the cords completely in a mess of knots. WTF?! After trying for several minutes to re-wind the cords in the spool - following the simple instructions - I gave up and provided on this pack and return it in the morning - completely disappointed. HOWEVER, the Next morning I managed to re-wind the string (not an easy job and almost impossible through simple instructions - you're dealing with two ropes time), put everything back together and began carving to give him another chance. Now the good part: it works great! With a little patience and practice - particularly to deal with the cord, I trimmed down to 3 feet tall weeds and grass trimmed around our garden beds around the pond, house, sidewalk and ended up working as the battery gave out. It took 15 minutes to work pretty hard on rough weeds and thick grass.
IMPORTANT NOTES: 1) Do not buy this mower without purchasing the second (expensive) battery ... you'll need, and the charger was built for two batteries of any so ... for obvious reasons. 2) This mower is very heavy! I was ready for a break when the battery is discharged. You will find you must use the shoulder strap. 3) Dealing with coil cord is a bit of a challenge. When working properly, the strings do not extend and are "crowned" by a guard on board, however, the strings are broken at the base of 2 times within 15 minutes I used the device. Breaking its cover the coil and re-threading the cord takes some practice. CONCLUSION: Yes, it works great! I care! Highly recommended sites for "small" and gardens (one acre). DO consider the second battery through the charge. -S

FANTASTIC!
This unit is extremely well built and just as good as over powered trimmers gas. My brother has a $ 99 version and this unit has a much better quality, twice the battery power (36v vs 18v) and large size cutting wire. I been using this for some time without any problems. I made my yard, and then loaned to my nosy neighbor who made his court on a single charge, without having the battery no symptoms of runnning down. I am now curious to know how many times I can do my yard with a single charge. I kept my gas mower in the event that the product does not measure up, but now I'm the gas mower for sale. I really enjoy the advantage of being able to choose the unit and use it immediately and not have to mess with a gas / oil mix. To truly yards big, you might want to pick up an extra battery (just in case), since the unit comes with a dual battery charger in the box.
I am very pleased with this purchase and I am now seriously consider B & D 36v mower.

I am a woman living in a large number in the Colorado mountains with a steep slope planted with native grasses hard. I love being outside of my own work, and I'm crossing all wireline equipment or batteries. It has the power, WOW. I asked the landscaper to help me with jobs too heavy for me (rock walls, posts around the garden, ventilation) to show me the best way to use this. I assembled and used this mower for the first time yesterday, and my clumsiness I could say was not holding and use it properly. It was very impressed, and quickly cut some large sections of grass.
Why thank you God? Because if the battery lasted longer, I continued until the work was done and I was lost. Its performance while working to keep my foot on the slope was a great workout, enough for one day. I am a wreck today if I continued, as it just so FUN to cut disorder there down to perfection!
I agree with all the good things written about this in the comments section of others, will therefore not be repeated. Just I LOVE this mower.

Weedeater Perfect!
This is our second season with the B & D 36-volt rechargeable trimmer NST2036. This is a fantastic tool garden We have a court 1 / 2 acres to maintain and the mower is ideal for it. The 36 volts, it is as powerful as gas mowers we tired to play with. We like not having a gas mixture and oil and attempting to start size gas tempermental. Our yard was too big to drag a long extension cord and 18 volt rechargeable We Read About simply were not heavy enough for what we needed. My only surprise is that this is so limietd availability in the stores. I guess it was a trial of any kind for B & D. I do not see 18 volts on their site now which is a shame.

I bought this a few weeks ago and it wonderful. The fact that he has the bigger battery (more power) and is a dual line trimmer, is it works better than the rest. I borrowed a line from my brother, 18-volt, cut B & D and it did not last for the entire my 1 / 2 acres of garden. I think the main reason is that the only online. The grass was high and it seems to grow much grass aside and I due back on some points again and again. With the tension of 36, in the long grass, I was able to move right along and get cleaner and faster cutting. I was also able to turn the machine on its side and I was also able to board my entry and sidewalk before the battery ran out. My suggestion to anyone buying a lawnmower would be to look for more power and a dual line trimmer and as far as I'm concenred it is best to sell it.

This thing has a lot of power. My three complaints are (1) its a bit heavy (2) extension should be about 9 "above (3) the battery lasts 12 hours to charge and only lasts about 15-20 minutes at about half speed. If you can obtained during these three things, its great.

I bought this trimmer because I was tired of buying, mixing, and reverse gas and oil. I did not know what to expect with rechargeable battery, but he played much better than I expected to. Despite being a little heavy, it holds a charge longer than I need to cut and edge of my front and back yards, and the shoulder strap allows distribute the excess weight. Admittedly, I have a small courtyard with a pool, but he did not come close to running before all I'm finished with it. I highly recommend this mower as a more environmentally friendly, as 36-volt battery is the power my old gas mower. It runs much quieter, too.

Very pleasantly surprised
I got the 36-volt trimmer is Tuesday and Thursday and my first impressions after use. He has a lot of plastic, but appears to be well done. It is heavy, but balances with shoulder strap. It took 14 hours to charge the battery deaths at full load. Wednesday morning before work, I decided to try it and WOW I was surprised. It really is powerful Some gasoline mowers (my Ryobi now sits). The unit is not as strong as a gas mower, but it is not silent or another. I trimmed later tonight and would not hase done with my gas trimmer because of the noise.
What about the battery life. I ordered a second battery that is not here yet, but I started off with a stack. In my office, I trimmed inital 350 ft of pavement, so training and curb. I cut 250 feet around the house and 80 square feet of flower bed. I also cut some 260 m or a fence around the base of two trees while on the initial charge. If it's about 850 fillings and 80 sqare feet of clearing and is battrey still strong. BTW the grass is thick enough so I'm really happy with the battery life.
If the product can contain up I highly recommend it

Now that I have used the product for a month I can say that I am truley happy. It is also powerful cutting-gas asmost. Some notes of caution when using. Goalkeeper trim sticker is good for protecting the chain but is open and things can scarf on yuor face. (Like all cutting). Do not make the mistake of thingking that since it's battery is not powerful. I wear glasses FULL as I had a sprig or two bite me in the face. Last week, I charged the batteries on Friday to do my yard work on Saturday. Has not forward until Monday. I took the battery caught. Today I almost finished the back yard that is 8 days after I charged the battery. I had the second battery so I finished without any problems. If I did everything last Saturday, she would probably have lasted all the way as it has before.
It is a bit heavy, but I'm tall for this is not a huge problem. If you are a woman 125 pounds, it would be more difficult, but it can be equilibrated with the frond.
Some people complaned the chain loader and the difficulty rope to it. Once you get the gift, it is very easy. If I'm lucky I'll put up a review of this video.
It's really an excellent product and I recommend it. BTW I use it as a side walk and entrance trimmer, even if she does not turn.

After reading most of the 62 comments, I knew very well what to expect and I ordered the extra battery. Unfortunately, he shipped separately and I did not. So I went to court with a battery. You know what to expect.
My Backyard is only a heartbeat over 1 / 4 acre so it is not huge, and I got two gas mowers in the shed, but I am sick of the 2-stroke engines with the mixture of diesel, so it's been years that I have not cut. I know it was asking a little too black and imperial, but I could not face, side and rear half before the battery gave out. Next time, I could probably make it through the court on a cut, if I only have a week of growth.
Now if I had my second Battery I finish this time without any problem, so overall I am satisfied that I got what I paid. I suspect that B & D took with ni-cads because they are a known quantity and a Li-Ion version would be twice the price and maybe even buy it. I guess ...
Always there no perfect solution, extension cords are a pain if you have plenty of size, 2 cycles are noisy and hard to start, 4 cycles are big and heavy, 18V is a joke So for now this B & D with 2 batteries is the best compromise.
On the positive side of this thing has power to spare. Relaxation gives you the illusion of varying speed, but it mainly has two speeds, wide open and something that is about half-speed. I found it almost impossible get anything in between, unless you continually raise the gas. I hardly ever open it wide up because I know you suck the battery dry in no time.
I had a tangle in the bone and had to re-coil, but all trimmers have this problem. There been no progress in the industry in 20 years to solve this problem, except for those who just gave up and did you insert blanks little cord in the head.
Overall a decent product for the money. If the price with a spare battery is not too painful and your garden is not too big and you stay on top of it, then you can get away from gas and go with this. Just beware of what you Buy.

This Black and Decker weed eater wireless is very well balanced and uses a chain heavy that last and it's easy to go back on the reel. The battery takes the full 12 hours to recharge as indicated in the instructions. The only downside I can see on this piece of equipment is that the charge lasts only 25 minutes to eat weeds. That 25 minutes is either full-speed mode or when the restriction to a lower speed. The long charge time makes it so a person must have the mentality to do 25 minutes of whacking bad herbs and find other things to do before the battery is recharged. This machine will cut anything that a gasoline engine cons weed eater engine will be cut. I was very impressed by that and the fact that only a small bump will give you more channels. I would buy this machine walking but when you buy 2 batteries do more in one day. (The charger to charge two batteries simultaneously.)

I just use the Black & Decker NST2036 Heavy-Duty 36-Volt Cordless Electric borders. I charge the battery upon receipt of order. I went on vacation for the Feast Labour weekend in Maine. He was sitting in my basement for 2 weeks before I was able to use it. I have about 3 / 4 of an acre to the plate, it is half the earth with great force for the rest.
