Gateway is still active. Although now built by the ACER NV53 Gateway is quite a nice product. In the past, I had 3 Gateway have all lasted a modest amount of time. After the acquisition ACER I never really thought of the same watching a bridge as I was unhappy with two ACER, I ordered and returned. While flipping through TV channels the other day I came across "today's special" one on HSN. It is this bridge. I looked and looked and looked and boy I listen to the host (who lied all the time) and a representative of the gateway. (Also a liar). They come and then on Blu-Ray and 320GB Hard Drive Space and 4Meg Ram. They talked about how no other door was available with a Blu-Ray as HSN bought them all for this sale and how, to $ 699 special 800 number in India and 380 million dollars worth of software that no agreement could not be done anywhere else. Not everything could be. After all they had a Blu-Ray and 3 payments without interest.
Not one kind to trust anything on a host HSN, I began to scour the net to see what I could find. Not only did I find the red door that I wanted, it also has a 500 GB hard drive and it has a higher processor than on HSN. He had the same website Cam and the same, except that everything wonderful software bundle. (Cough, choke, hack, hack). And low and behold it was available on AMAZON my card for 12 months and no interest. How could this be? An employee of Gateway and HSN host both told the same story that was a lie excessively. I type at the moment on my new Gateway I bought from Amazon and received in two days, not 10. The computer is great. Full size keyboard and a numeric keypad. A touch pad full motion, blu-ray disc drive 500 GB of RAM and 4 mg every here and works great. Acer hand, this machine still has a sense of its own and is very well designed. Logo gateway port and HDMI Vision M500 processor, this machine has almost everything you want. I suggest you look at all Gateway places available on Amazon and [...] because they are still building a solid, very good looking product. Only draw back, is that number 800 to India but I'm hoping to never use it. Most problems are created by the user and if you keep the backups you can do all the repairs yourself. My Vote BUY A GATEWAY and buy it here on Amazon not HSN.
