Let us introduce the Superleggera Lamborghini - Gallardo "purists" according to Lamborghini and Now you can drive the beast around Hampton Downs Motorsport Park, just south of Auckland!
For most mortals would be most standard Lamborghini Gallardo fast enough in all areas, thanks to its 5.0-liter V10 engine and aerodynamics cunning. Here's your chance to get behind the wheel of a Lotus Exige 8 km around Hampton Downs Raceway in Auckland. Weight Requires the suspension of light and space in a small group of its own and you'll be right in the action. Once you attach and cross the briefing with our experienced driver, you'll be off for a memorable car around what some consider the greatest track in the southern hemisphere.
The sole purpose of these aerodynamic additions to the base Elise is to create more downforce (almost 100 lb (45 kg) of support at 100 mph (160 kph) in the Exige cons 13 pounds (5.9 kilograms) to 100 mph (160 km / h) in the Elise).
In February 2006, Lotus announced the Exige S model which uses a supercharged engine producing 220 hp Toyota (164 kW, 223 PS). [2] The S was also made available to markets in North America as as model 2007.
