ThinkPad X200 review

We were a little surprised when Lenovo announced an X series laptop with a 12.1-inch wide screen aspect, after all the same size ThinkPad X300 had won many hearts and minds when it was introduced earlier this year. But the new ThinkPad X200 does nicely complement Lenovo's ThinkPad family. It is slightly smaller and - with a starting price of $ 1,434 - far cheaper than the X300 13.3-inch ThinkPad and it offers more hard drive space (although, in the form of a spinning, not solid state drive). More importantly, its new Centrino Two components provide better performance than other ultraportables, most (with the 9-cell battery) lifetime of the longest battery we have seen date.

What the ThinkPad X200 does not - Built-in optical drive, a touch pad - will surely be a clear agreement-breakers for some users. And you will have some extra weight to get the value of a full day of independence. However, the Lenovo ThinkPad X200 is logical Frequent travelers who want an ultraportable laptop that is both relatively long life and powerful for a day of work in a variety of applications.

The good: the rupture life of the battery-Record, strong performance for an ultra portable, comfortable keyboard size, screen display with a resolution high; WWAN and GPS options.

The bad: Nine-cell battery adds significant weight, poor player Optical includes pointing, but no touchpad.

The bottom line: It lacks some basic features you require - touchpad, optical drive - but the 12.1 inch ThinkPad X200 offers strong performance and longest battery life we've seen. With a variety of connectivity options and a keyboard spacious, the ThinkPad X200 is an ultra portable great for road warriors.

Opinion:

ThinkPad X200 has a construction a solid performance and long battery life, compared to its competitors such as HP Pavilion DV4 battery, Asus PC 1000 battery, battery HP 2133, HP Mini 1000 Battery , HP Pavilion DV9000 Battery, Dell Inspiron 9400 Battery, Dell Inspiron E1705 battery and so on. They are also hot sellers markets laptop!

It is unfortunate that ThinkPad X200 comes with a dose not a touchpad, which many users have already got used to it.

Although the accumulation the DVD is lacking in its design, I'm not too concerned about what I do not use most of the time, how many people like to wear extra weight when they are on the road?
