4. If nothing gets you an office in real time for even a moment, or if you hear no activity despite the normal start living BIOS screen on power up, the video subsystem is fine, but the operating system fails to start. The most likely reason for this is corruption of software, including virus damage, or physical problem with the hard drive. You may remove from your hard drive for reformatting or scanning for viruses.
