This again means that the hard drive is not attempting to read those little pieces of data strewn all over the place but rather they will all be shunted to one area of the drive. This will make the PC run faster and will also allow registry mechanic software to work a little better in its own right in cleaning up the hard drive. Using these two programs together will be the best bet as you will have a better chance of getting all the trashable bits cleaned up.

Of course the Malware can also make your computer run slower and in order to get rid of those you will need to get some sort of antivirus software to clean any spyware or viruses off of your computer and allow it to run at peak efficiency. A combination of all three programs is the safest bet when you want to increase PC speed.
