Dell's Inspiron Mini 1018 does not feature the NVIDIA ION 2 GPU, the product that some competing product chose for its multimedia capabilities. The new Dell Inspiron Mini 1018 has a starting price equal to 279 euros. The graphics component is given instead of a CPU built-in Intel GMA X3150, which manages a 10.1 inches screen with LED backlight TrueLife with WSVGA resolution in 1024 × 600 pixels, glossy.
Dell Inspiron Mini 1018 is powered by an Intel Atom N455 with a clock speed of 1.66 GHz and backed up by 1GB of DDR3 memory, instead of the NVIDIA ION 2 GPU, and will have a lower price point, which means it sticks to its status as affordable, low-end mobile device. The new Dell Inspiron Mini 10 (1012) is a 10-inch netbook from Dell based on Intel's Atom N450 processor. It offers standard netbook performance but excels in areas like looks, design, and battery life. This Dell Inspiron Mini 1018 is slimmer with 92 percent sized keyboard and high-gloss black finish. Also it's already pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter Edition OS with price 279 Euro and will be available firstly in Europe.
