Settings Utility for LiteOn DVD Writers (v1.2.1)
am not having much knowledge about the LiteOn DVD Writers. My friend is having some issue with it, so I thought to ask you guys, since you help a lot in solving the problems. He want to know about the settings of an utility that are used for LiteOn DVD Writers (v1.2.1). I hope that there would be someone hanging out there who would be interested in helping us out.!!

The famous manufacturer which Liteon is particularly in charge of producing burners DVD on behalf of Sony, today launches a new DVD, The Liteon SOHW-1673. Here are the full specifications of this drive :

The brand Taiwanese Lite-On IT has taken a new course in DVD burning. While the burn speed tops out at 22x for DVD recorders to market faster, the Taiwanese manufacturer has just announcedthat its next model will burn in 24x. This drive will be available in three versions more or less embedding technology. The model iHAS324 incorporate technology that allows SmartErase deletedata, the model iHAP424 add LightScribe technology which allows the screen print top face of the disk, while model iHAS624 add more LabelTag technology that allows the bottom screen print the disc on the remaining part after writing data. The first and third models are connected in the second SATA and IDE.

The EZ-DUB function works with the addition of two buttons to the DVD writer: "DUB" and "File" and the easy EZ-DUB software developed by Lite-On. EZ-DUB allows you to copy discs in three easy steps :
Insert the original CD / DVD
Press the "DUB" button
Replace the disc with a blank disc to record when prompted
EZ-DUB allows you to backup data in three easy steps :
Drag the files from the EZ-DUB folder on the desktop
Insert a blank disc
Click "File"

PLDS (Philips and Lite-On Digital Solutions) has announced the upcoming launch of its portable DVD burner, Lite-On eSAU208 called, in different colors (ie: black, pink, blue and white). The device can be powered both by USB like the power adapter and record DVD +-R, DVD + RW at 8x, DVD ± R DL and DVD-RW 6X, DVD-RAM at 5X and CD-R (W) 24x . It also incorporates an interesting way of saving energy, by reducing the burn speed accordingly will save battery consumption if you use the recorder with a laptop or netbook.
