Fujifilm FinePix S5700 uses its internal memory as well as a memory card for storing digital files. Since the internal memory can only save up to 27 MB of data, it becomes necessary for a photographer to use a memory card (xD and SD) to save his/her large collection of pictures, audios, and videos. These cards, although trust worthy, can get corrupt if not handled properly.
One easy way to identify memory card corruption is when the photographer views an error message at the time s/he tries to view the photographs. The photographer views the error message every time s/he accesses the card. An easy way to access data from card after its corruption is by restoring the data from an updated backup. However, if no backup is available, then the photographer needs to search for some good Photo Recovery solution.
Consider a real-world example. You attempt to access the data saved in xD card of your Fujifilm FinePix S5700 camera and encounter the below error message:
"CARD ERROR"
The error appears every time you try to access the data saved in the xD card. Needless to say, the data saved in the memory card becomes inaccessible after the above error message pops up.
Cause:
Improper shutdown of the camera, interrupted read/write operation, or malicious software/malware may result in memory card corruption.
Resolution:
Format the xD memory card in Fujifilm FinePix S5700 camera. The card becomes reusable after formatting and you store new digital files in it. However, formatting comes with a disadvantage of deleting all the previously saved digital files from the xD card.
To recover deleted files after formatting, you will need to:
- Restore them from an updated backup.
- Use a commercial Photo Recovery utility. Such Picture Recovery Software recover all kinds of files from a formatted memory card, irrespective of its size.
