The Panasonic Viera TX-P46S20B Freeview HD 1080P Plasma TV
If there is a company that knows how to make a good television set, that company would have to be Panasonic. This year is no different, and this is proven with the Panasonic Viera TXP46S20B.
A DVB-T2 tuner has been included in all televisions within the S20 Series, this one included, and this offers a way for those who enjoy watching their favourite movies, dramas, documentaries, soaps and sports in high definition as the tuner paves the way to Freeview HD so long as they are located in the United Kingdom.
This particular television includes a 600Hz Sub-field Drive technology which means its full 1,080 lines of resolution will offer some of the best high definition quality still images and full motion video. Panasonic converts all motion of every scene into data so that the clarity of motion pictures is enhanced, and this is done by their unique technology for image analysis. When using Cinema Mode, this television set will now show images at a higher rate of frames per second, effectively reducing trailing images when watching a movie.
The Panasonic TX-P46S20B engine, which is VIERA, makes waves with the newest Real Black Drive system and its newly improved process of panel production. Even when there are scenes that would normally make it difficult to distinguish dark and light, the Real Black Drive system, which is a pre-discharge control system, is capable of offering images as was intended by the director, an example of next generation black reproduction.
The Panasonic Viera TX-P46S20 is even capable of using the SD card slot to help in showing off the high definition capabilities. What this means is that an SD card can be inserted into the slot of the television slot immediately after taking a photograph or a video with a digital camera, and the television set will display them in full high definition. Panasonic also offers users the chance to use special background music tracks, an easily viewable display of thumbnails, slideshow frames and effects in between transitions.
This television set uses its Game Mode to respond to images at a much more rapid pace, making the overall experience in playing video games much more enhanced when connecting a video game console. Game Mode will also function well with the wobbling function, or the anti-image retention, and the VIERA engine can produce dark images with much more clarity than ever before.
The combination of VIERA Link technology and a single HDMI cable can allow for the connection of several different AV devices that can all be controlled by the one VIERA remote control that comes packaged with the set.
