How To Disassemble A HP Pavilion Laptop
To open a HP Pavilion laptop it may take one hour if you know how to do this and several hours if you don't know at least the basic laptop components. To prevent data loss remove the hard drive. To remove the hardware cover use a screwdriver to remove the rubber grommets and then unscrew the three screws located on the underside of the pavilion laptop.
Step 3:
The third step is to unscrew all the screws from around the memory panels to lift the components from the base of the computer.
Step 4:
Take apart the keyboard holder and speakers from the laptop. Then you will have to open the screen by turning over the laptop. Draw the keyboard cover and lift this cover and speakers off the laptop.
Step 5:
After the step 4 you will have access to the next component that has to be removed the keyboard. Take the keyboard, then unhook the connector underneath the space bar from the main board and so you can access the motherboard situated on the top of the keyboard.
Step 6:
If you got to this point you should be able to lift up the cover of the laptop completely. In order to do this you have to unscrew the screws from the base cover situated on the keyboard frame and draw the cover to remove it. When you will succeed to do this you will have fully access to the components from inside the laptop the heat sink, the circuit boards, the fan and other components.
