A storage disk reads or records information for storage media magnetic or visual. Hard Drives
A hard disk or floppy disk drive, is a magnetic storage device that is installed in the computer. The hard disk is used as permanent storage of information. In a computer, the disk drive is normally arranged as drive C: and makes the operating system and applications. The hard drive is usually configured as a starting player in the boot sequence. The storage capacity of a hard drive is measured in billions of bytes, or gigabytes (GB). The speed of a hard disk is measured in revolutions per minute (rpm).
Network Drive
A network drive is a link to store a remote computer to access files and directories.
