The Dell Inspiron 510m is a little bit different from Inspiron series of the past, the is market for small business users asus eee pc 1005ha and designers. Up from the design and characteristics the inspiron 510m may more like Inspiron 5000 series, but it still have some important changes. The use of integrated graphics chip is the most significant changes of Inspiron 510m battery Series as Inspiron 5000.

But since the general view that business users will not use the notebook to play games, so graphics chips change and users will not be a focus obef debate. More importantly, the changes should be three times the bandwidth of its built-in 802.11 WiFi wireless card, you can use it 802.11a/b/g wireless network connection. This means that with this Inspiron 510m, you can connect wireless Internet access all over the world. This is a good news for the people who often necessarily carry books around the staff. In addition to WiFi wireless card, this Inspiron 510m is also a standard Bluetooth interface, as long as you have a Bluetooth cell phone support, you can send and receive an email anywhere.

Although this Inspiron 510m with Pentium M 1.7GHz processor, but there is no Intel Centrino paste (Centrino) label, it is because its wireless chip is not Intel, but Broadcom produced. Another regret is that Inspiron 510m is only 256MB of PC2100 DDR SDRAM memory as,although you can slowly upgrade their own future, the cost to upgrade is much cheaper than buy from Dell, but the two memory slots are filled. The laptop have a big enough hard drive, a 60GB, standard DVD / CD-RW combo drive which is the mainstream of the current configuration.

1400x1050 resolution is very common in many 15-inch notebook screen , and Inspiron 510m course this is no exception. We mentioned above, the laptop is the use of integrated graphics chips, so it is not ideal when running 3D applications, but running Windows system and DVD playback with is not a problem . Intel Extreme integrated graphics chip to allow the largest share 64MB of system memory thinkpad x200s battery, but performance of the system maybe solow if you show too much memory.

The most problem of Inspiron 510m is the capacity. Inspiron 510m battery only can last 2 hours 28 minutes. Although this and the Dell battery standard work time, but I think that for business users that is too short. Commercial users for 2 hours 28 minutes is also too short. In order to solve the problem of, Dell provides a choice of a second battery. Dell said this back-up battery to provide them with additional two hours of electricity.

Conclusion:
From its characteristics, performance and battery life, the Inspiron 510m is really a hodgepodge of laptop. Its distinctive characteristics, a moderate level of performance (although within plus 256M Kept on will increase performance), short life. However, it is not expensive relative to the prices, or be a rugged business notebook thinkpad x200 battery.
