With so many different monitor is currently available on the market, it seems that every manufacturer is now launching their own spin on their new models, and Samsung LE32A656 is no exception. The LE32A656 retains its predominantly black with just a touch of bright red and a glass panel, Samsung has found that the approach more subtle to add color to a TV without being overtly obvious. Although it is not the "red dress" from the crowd, the LE32A656 offers a unique way to add color without being garish.

The LE32A656 provides a clear image and one of the few 32-inch LCD on the market that offers Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080. Most manufacturers believe that there is no advantage to offer this report on a TV under 40 inches which makes the LE32A656 to stand out in the 32-inch wide LCD. Samsung DNIe (Digital Natural Image engine) which helps black levels, detail, color and motion handling LE32A656 offers impressive black levels that are closer to achieving the levels currently only available on TVs plasma, which suggests that LCDs have come a long way in technology.

With such high performance picture quality, you can expect the audio perform as well or better, but this is not the case. Audio performance is ok, almost "metallic" at times with average performance TV watching regularly. If you decided to watch movies together, then you may want to invest in an external sound system or you will be in a non-theater experience enjoyable.

The LE32A656 provides users with 4 HDMI inputs that are a rarity on TV of this size. Three are located in the back and one was installed on the side for quick and easy to access and play. It are 2 scart inputs and a built in USB port that Samsung calls Wiselink. This gives you the ability to display your JPEG or play music from any USB device. It even offers you a slideshow function that lets you adjust the speed of the slideshow and you even gives the ability to add MP3 as background music if you wish.

The LE32A656 also provides the user with the EPG (Electronic Program Guide). This guide includes a preview window, the program description, the progress bar time, and 6 channel lists, all in a window easy to navigate. There is also a calendar reminder option, you can select a show and the TV you back. You can even forward 24 hours to see and set reminders for shows on the following night, which comes in quite handy for those times when you just saw an ad for a show you're interested in watching. The only drawback of this feature is that it seems a little slower than other menus the LE32A656.

Overall the LE32A656 offers exceptional image quality, but the sound quality means. This is a great TV unless you plan to use it for watching basic television, but the sound quality is poor with movies. If your goal is performance quality video to your TV to watch all day, then opt for the LE32A656. Not more than that and the LE32A656 is not the way forward.
