How to install Windows 7 on a USB device? Microsoft launches new utility
Windows installation, in case of non-player DVD has always been a big problem. I remember when my DVD drive stopped working after my windows laptop has been damaged by virus attack. It took me about three days on research on the net, trying to find a tool to install my Windows from USB.
Close Search all tools for windows, I was installing the tool is paid or is USB bootable, and not helpful the installation of my windows. At one point I managed to copy all my files from Windows to USB and make it bootable but there are many files installation, it took too long even to start the installation process. After losing my 3 days I finally bought an IDE to USB cable, attached it with an external DVD drive that was turned on the power of a PC. And finally, after all my efforts, I managed to install Windows with a DVD storage device.
This kept me thinking for some time how it may be difficult for novice users to install Windows on their laptops in case of failure DVD player. Even if every laptop comes with a system restore option, but if it also corrupts and get DVD player does not work.
After a long time, it appears that Microsoft has also realized this issue. They recently launched Windows 7 USB / DVD tool, which lets you take an ISO image and convert it into flash drive bootable.
This program Windows USB installation is created not only for laptop users, but for any one who bought Windows 7 from Microsoft's official website. This tool allows you to create a copy of your ISO of Windows 7 on a USB stick or DVD.
In Windows 7 Microsoft purchase store, you can and download an ISO file or a compressed file. The Windows 7 USB / DVD download tool lets you create a copy of Windows 7 ISO to a USB flash drive or a DVD. Make a bootable USB flash drive is real easy. Just download the ISO file and run the Windows 7 USB / DVD tool Download. Once done, you'll be able to install Windows 7 directly from USB. Ass and the ISO file is compressed, the process take much less time than uncompressed files on your Windows USB from any other bootable USB tool.
If Please note that if you use a flash drive, it must have at least 4 GB of space to copy the ISO file packed full.
To install Windows 7 all you have to do is insert the USB flash drive to your USB port or insert your DVD into your DVD drive and run the file setup.exe from the root folder of the drive. You also will choose your USB drive or a DVD drive as primary boot option during installation.
The last part: You may be wondering what is so cool about this tool. The coolest part of this whole story is that this software was launched in open source. Microsoft had concerns about this project to be launched as open source. It was first launched with the source of the program is closed self and without adequate documentation, but later with an explanation of "internal Mistake", it was revived again and said that open source for use them all.
